Anthony Koh, Ph.D., M.A.

Bio
Anthony C. Koh is Professor Emeritus of Marketing and International Business in the Department of Marketing and International Business, College of Business & Innovation, 兔子先生传媒文化作品. He received his Bachelor鈥檚 degree (Honors) in Economics from the University of Malaya, and Master of Arts in Marketing and Ph.D. (Business Administration) degrees from the University of Alabama.
He has worked as a management consultant in Malaysia and served 10 years with the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority, of which four years were in Australia as an investment and trade specialist. He also worked at the Alabama International Trade Center, Tuscaloosa, providing export counseling and assistance to small businesses. Anthony teaches courses in Marketing and International Business at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. His major research works have appeared in several publications, including听International Marketing Review,听Journal of Business Research,听Journal of Global Marketing,听Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science,听Journal of Teaching in International Business, International Business Review,听Journal of Product and Brand Management,听International Journal of Internet Marketing and听Advertising, and the听Journal of Electronic Commerce Research. His research focuses on exporting, foreign direct investments, Asia (particularly China, India and Southeast Asia), cross-cultural implications, branding and consumer culture positioning, and marketing strategies and internationalization of family-owned businesses.
听In collaboration with the Neff College of Business and Innovation Executive Center for Global Competitiveness, Anthony facilitated a series of cross-cultural training seminars for executives and staff of a major high-tech corporation headquartered in the U.S. and with subsidiaries in Germany and Malaysia.
Currently, Anthony is the Program Coordinator for the Joint BBA Degree Program in Professional Sales and Marketing, a collaboration between the College of Business & Innovation, 兔子先生传媒文化作品 and Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics, Hangzhou, China. He also teaches as a part-time instructor in the College of Business & Innovation.
