Kids Day Soccer Game w/ ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· Women's Soccer

Come out and cheer on the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· Women's Soccer team take on Georgia Southern. ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· Athletics is providing activities for the kids and passing out Toledo Soccer shirts and soccer balls (while supplies last) to every kid that comes to attend the game! Admission and parking in Lot 5 is free for all.Â
One World, One Sky, Big Bird's AdventureÂ
Ritter Planetarium | September 12 | 3:00pm
Join Student Parent Initiatives for a complimentary showing of One World, One Sky, Big Bird’s Adventure; a full-dome show that follows Sesame Street's Big Bird and Elmo as they explore the night sky with Hu Hu Zhu, a Muppet from China. Together they take an imaginary trip from Sesame Street to the Moon, where they discover how different it is from Earth. All children will receive a space-themed activity to take home.
*Please note parking is enforced on the weekend. Permit holders may park in any parking area on Sunday, September 12th per Parking Rules and Regulations 3E.
Rocket Family Weekend

While your student is at the University of Toledo, parent and family members are also members of our Rocket Family. Each year we invite our families to campus for Rocket Family Weekend to experience life on campus as a Rocket. Rocket Family Weekend is an annual tradition that typically occurs on campus every fall semester. This exciting series of events engages our Rockets’ parents, families, and siblings all weekend long!
Raising Up Student Parents: Professional Development for Faculty & Staff

All ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· faculty and staff are invited to learn more about the experiences and needs of student parents through a docuseries: Raising Up. The five part series can be completed all at once or in segements throughout the month. After watching each episode of the docuseries, faculty and staff can answer a knowledge-check question using the form below. Faculty and staff who complete the docuseries and 1-question knowledge checks will receive a 'I support ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· Student Parents' button via interoffice mail.
Diaper Drive
September 1 - 30 | Drop off @ CASE (SU 2518)
Throughout September, the Eberly Center will be collecting diapers for our ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ·
student parents. Since starting Student Parent Initiatives, the Eberly Center has
hosted a diaper bank receiving donations from individuals and organizations when possible.
We are especially interested in collecting sizes 3 - 5.Â
Larger packs of diapers will be divided into packs of 25. For every 25 diapers donated,
individuals will receive one raffle ticket for an Eberly Center Swag Basket. Swag
baskets include: a Rocksy cross-body bag, basketball & soccer stress balls, chapstick,
pen, and hairtie.
