Give your middle school student a smart start in today鈥檚 digital world with a camp that teaches the basics of AI, data, and media literacy. This camp is the perfect introduction. Campers will learn what AI is, how to use it safely and ethically, how data is collected and sometimes misrepresented, and how to tell whether online information is reliable.

Each day includes engaging sessions focused on promoting AI, data, and media literacy, giving students a foundation for a lifetime of responsible digital citizenship. Through fun and hands-on activities, they鈥檒l build the higher-level thinking skills needed to navigate today鈥檚 digital world with confidence.

At the end of the week, campers will take home a final project to share what they鈥檝e learned throughout the week of camp.

*Scholarships covering $175 of the camp cost are available听for students attending schools under the Ohio Council of Community Schools (OCCS). The family of the participant is responsible for the remaining $25 balance.

• Day three: What is media? How can we spot AI generated media? How can AI contribute to the spread of false information? 听
• Day four: What can we create responsibly with AI? How can we improve our AI prompts to create a better output?听
• Day five: What did we learn from this week鈥檚 activities? How can AI help us? What should we be careful of when using AI or consuming media? 听
