| Type of Work Student Will Perform | Research Export Control Policy & Procedures to assist in developing UT’s policy & insure compliant with BIS & DDTC requirements. Develop export control language for RSP contracts & purchasing department, for a variety of different circumstances (research, ITAR equipment, software, international purchases). Research & review current FAA rules/regs re: drones, insure DRONE policy remains compliant with FAA rules & regs. Conflict of Interest Policy - - Benchmark UT vs other university COI policies & procedures.Ìý UT COI Committee has recommended changes to Research COI policy, not yet submitted for approval.Ìý Insure policy remains compliant with Ohio Ethics, and new Federal Requirements. All 9 UT COI policies need to be reviewed to insure they are mutually supportive of each other, and not in conflict. Create various templates for COI management plans. Financial conflicts; Institutional conflicts; Related researchers on federal awards due to their specialty (nepotism).Ìý |
