LaValley Law Library

The LaValley Law Library provides resources to promote legal research and enhance student success. The law library is located within the Law Center and features almost 42,000 square feet of study space with 48 private study carrels, ten group study rooms, 12 adjustable standing desks, a computer lab, and access to legal research databases.

Summer 2026 Hours 

Closed for summer break. Our law librarians will be available by phone and email, but the circulation desk and study spaces will be closed. Let us know if you need anything during that time!

We will reopen at 9:00 am Wednesday August 19 for Law Orientation. Hours the rest of orientation week will be 9:00 am - 4:45 pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Fall semester hours begin August 24: Monday - Thursday 7:00 am to 8:45 pm, Friday 7:00 am to 4:45 pm, closed Saturday & Sunday. We plan to be open for the weekends before and between exam weeks.

No public visitors on weekends or after 4:45 pm daily. Must have ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· ID to enter the building during non-public hours.

Legal Research

ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· law students, faculty, and staff may explore our Legal Research Links. Due to economic restructuring, the LaValley Law Library has limited service outside the College of Law, no weekend hours, and no services available to the general public. Our computer lab is only open to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· Law students.
