Admission
Goal: Attract and admit high-quality applicants with healthcare experience and GPA greater than 3.0.
Indicators:
-听 Average GPA of entering classes will be 3.0 or greater.
-听 Entering students will have at least one shadowing experience in medical/forensic
autopsy services, or have shadowing experience in surgical pathology.
Results:
-听听Average GPA for 2025 class is 3.7/4.0
-听 Students have at least one work and shadowing experience in autopsy and/or surgical
pathology.

indicate that at least 75% of program graduates secured employment as a pathologists鈥�
assistant or closely related field within the first year of graduation.

-听 Within 6 months of graduation, 95% of graduates who graduated from the classes
of 2015-2024 had secured employment as a Pathologists鈥� Assistants or related field
positions within the first year after graduation.
