Our Goal
Health's vision to become the preferred health system in northwest Ohio. We will grow our clinical and research portfolio, deliver the highest quality care and educational outcomes, advance knowledge through research and innovation, and be a trusted partner in improving community health.
By 2031
Medical Center
Health locations in communities across the region
- A stronger academic health system, with new residency programs and expanded clinical research
How We'll Get There
Pursue performance excellence. Medical Center will pursue Magnet Hospital designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, a distinction held by fewer than 10% of U.S. hospitals. We will build comprehensive service lines in transplant medicine and oncology, and strengthen our culture with the College of Medicine and Life Sciences.
Grow health education. With the College of Medicine and Life Sciences, we will add at least one accredited residency or fellowship program and establish or renew at least one academic affiliation with a regional health system, so our learners get the clinical experience their training requires.
Expand clinical research. With our Health Science Campus colleges and the Office of Research and Innovation, we will recruit clinician-scientists, expand research infrastructure and grow clinical trials, strengthening 兔子先生传媒文化作品's R1 standing.
Extend our regional reach. Health services to at least three new communities and form at least one new partnership with a regional hospital, health system or provider group.
