What Do We Do?听听
At the Student Green Fund, we take a proactive approach to making the University of Toledo campus more sustainable. We focus on providing the resources necessary for students to develop and fund their ideas into real, sustainable solutions on campus.听We have funded projects ranging听from waste reduction initiatives听to energy efficiency upgrades, as well as the Tech Park Solar Field on the Health Science Campus.听The impact we empower students to make lasts long after we graduate, inspiring new students to continue the push towards a more sustainable campus.听听
Propose a Project
It all starts with the proposal form. Our team members are available for any questions and can provide guidance on developing the ideal proposal. Next, the proposal is presented before the organization, and voting members will hold a vote to听determine听if the project is ready to move to the next stage. At this point, the听project leaders听will work closely with our Project Manager and Treasurer to dispense funding and ensure the project听is completed smoothly and efficiently.听After the project is completed, a Post-Project Evaluation form will be听submitted听by the听project leader听to assess how well the sustainability goals were met. Any student or faculty member can make a proposal, and we are here to help at every step along the way to completion.听
