Veterinary Professional Services
- Requested as a part of research project (protocol-approved surgery, necropsy or tissue
harvesting to collect experimental data, etc)
and/or - Veterinarian must provide surgical or advanced medical intervention for research -induced conditions.

Administrative Services
This fee may be assessed when:
$32.00 per hour
($8.00 per 15 minutes).
- Animal requisitions are submitted after the Wednesday, Noon deadline and must be placed that week.
- Animal requisitions are amended after the Wednesday, Noon deadline or after orders are placed with the vendor.
- Requesting administrative/billing services beyond standard operating procedures.
- Indexes submitted for animal orders are under funded or closed at the time of allocation.
- Changing indexes or using an underfunded index after invoices are sent to the PI.
- Using multiple indexes to cover DLAR charges.
